Top Tips v2

Making the most of your experience at big bold conferences

Before the conference

1. Plan your schedule to optimise your time

Check out the conference programme on the event website and then organise your personal attendance schedule via the online event platform (available 2 weeks prior to the conference).

2. Familiarise yourself with the online platform

Login information and guidelines on accessing the online platform will be sent to you around two weeks before the live event: Download the mobile and web apps, login, test your system, audio and video connections.  Take time now to familiarise yourself with the online environment.  For the best experience use a laptop of desktop rather than mobile.

3. Create your profile for better networking

Set-up your online profile: Add a picture, short biography and links to your social networks. Your contact information is only available to those that you agree to connect with.

With more distractions in the home, office or lab environment it’s easy to miss the live sessions: Set reminders for sessions you want to attend live – attending live is your only chance to ask questions and interact with the speakers.

Block off your calendar, turn off all notifications except those from CONFERENCE2020, pour a cup of your favourite coffee and set yourself up in a quiet space.

How To Access The Online Conference

Q: How do I access the online conference?

All delegates will receive confirmation of registration. Access instructions will be emailed to registered attendees one week prior to the event. This will include login information for the online platform and mobile app and tips for getting the best experience out of the live conference.

Q: What equipment do I need to access the online conference?

We recommend participation via PC / Mac desktop using Chrome for the best experience. A stable internet connection, microphone and webcam are required. Delegates can access via the mobile app but this will offer a more limited visual experience.

Our joining instructions will outline how to login, test your system, audio and video prior to the event.

After the conference
